Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Recovery compass warps players to lodestones

Just like a normal compass you would be able to right click a lodestone with a recovery compass to link it to the block. Then by right clicking with the compass a nether portal like warp animation would play, teleporting the player back to the linked lodestone.

Warping causes the lodestone to crack requiring the player to repair it with a new netherite ingot or to craft a new one. Since netherite is both rare and non-renewable this wouldn't make other travel options obsolete.

This would also make recovery compasses useful in hardcore.

Finally the recovery compass would be renamed to the return compass to better reflect this new mechanic.

    Return compass? You should call it the RETURNER COMPASS. not the RETURN COMPASS.
