Nether Biome - Black Oasis

Found rarely in the Nether, the Black Oasis is a stunning, shadowy realm.

Atop of its blackstone soil, there are giant black fungi made of black wood, on which grow shroomdark blocks, that can darken the area around them - the more ripe they are, the more light they consume. The fungi has a "bracket/ osyster" shape, as opposed to the usual cap shape.

Growing on the walls, floor, and on the barks of the black fungi are colonies of glow lichen and brown cap mushrooms.

Powerful Nether spiders guard the Oasis in their nests of cobwebs, full of eggs. These spiders have toxic bites that make their prey blind. They are immune to fire, but if you can knock them on lava, they won't resist it. A bane of arthropods weapon might be worth bringing against these spiders, as they are tougher than normal.

Although the biome is relatively small, you may find Nether fortresses, ruined portals, and bastions in it

Good idea! That sounds like a very interesting biome to navigate through!
