yeah, it has a few new plants but you cant really call it a garden if it has no flowers or ferns

I was thinking about something a few days ago and I found that it lacked hostile plants.
For example, one or two carnivorous plants. At least one could eat insects like bees, I also saw people mention fireflies that would give a better atmosphere to the biome.
For the player, one of the carnivorous plants could simply catch it and slow it down a little or something else. Some carnivorous plants in real life close if you touch them even if they are too small to do anything, it would be a similar effect here.

Their textures would be adapted to this biome (or maybe each biome they are), making them less easy to see.
Players will be able to pick them up like flowers and use them for decoration or for a little defense even if limited. For example, simply slow down monsters, pillagers or players.

One of the hostile plants could have a more friendly appearance to attract an insect or maybe even the player. I don’t know what it might look like but maybe it could have a very similar shape to another plant or object. This makes think of the trapped chest which is recognizable only by its red mark.

It would also be interesting to have a completely unique type of carnivorous plant, fully adopting the game's own identity.

White and grey pumpkins, a rare corpse flower, white rose bushes, a hostile plant... Several fitting ideas for a garden biome.
