While I like the general direction of the Pale Garden and Creaker, I feel like there are certain things that could be done to improve these features and their implementation.
- Increase tree height variety and structure. Pale, gnarled and wild looking trees (thicker trunks & wider, far-reaching branches) would be a wonderful addition to the biome's ambiance.
- Make the creaker climb trees and pass-through leaf blocks, so that players simply can't avoid them by sprinting across the canopy.
- Make the Pale Garden live up to its namesake and create a garden that is “twisted, pale and unsettling”, so that it goes against the expectation of what one would think when visualizing a garden, further adding to the player’s sense of something being “off”. This could be done by adding several new creepy or unusual decorative plant blocks (flowers, tree fungus, shrubs, and gnarled creeping vines).
- Add fog to further obscure vision along with the hanging moss.
- Add things meant to visually throw off the player and keep them on edge. Ex: Shelf fungi that can grow on the side of trees in clusters. They would be pale or unassuming during the day, but change color and glow orange at night. This could make them vaguely resemble the eyes of a creaker.

Add dilapidated structure(s) with unique loot to draw the players into the Pale Garden. Give it a feature that disincentivizes players from exploring it during the day, and instead makes it worth their while to explore at night.
