Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Pale Wood Dyeing

Watching minecraft live gave me an idea with the pale wood, dyeing wood has always been an idea floating around in the community, but a white wood gives that a better opportunity.

i think dyeing wood should work like how dying leather armor on bedrock works. as an example, you can take a stack of Pale Logs or Pale Planks, and take a cauldron and and make the color youd want, and right click the cauldron to dye the planks/logs.

dyeing the planks would make more sense but you should be able to dye Pale Logs and it would let someone dye basically 4 stacks of planks in bulk. and would also give the bark on logs a different color

more wood types are always welcome, but at a point its going to become a LOT. there are already a ton of wood types and having some way to get the specific color of wood you want would be really nice instead of having to hope the next set of wood is the color you have been waiting for.

    Dyeing/painting wood has always been a rejected idea that they won't implement, instead being why we have a variety of different trees/wood types to otherwise use (or get creative with other types of colours in other blocks).

    This is what I've been thinking! And maybe it won't happen since they've said in the past that wood won't be dyeable, but maybe since it's pale, the colours could all stay pale, and bring in a full spectrum of pastel colours? (As much as I'd like a deep blue wood, I'm sure that can come from some more fantastical tree eventually!) (Also I had the thought that maybe painted logs no longer activate the Creaking Heart, or maybe give the Creaking different coloured eyes or something?)
