Creaking should deal more damage

    I agree, it doing half a heart of damage with 0 armor is a complete Joke

    It should not do a lot of damage. It should hit hard, but very slowly and not too hard - just to keep it noticable and unplesant. It should also pierce through armor, so that it still scary in the late game. Maybe it could attack less when the player has less HP, seeing him as less of a threat, or to play with the player more -- it is more intense to run for your life than simply dying.

    More damage (A few seconds of Mining Fatigue too?) per hit but have a bit of a cool down between hits. if the Creaking kills a player too quick the tension (and fear factor) will be over. Dealing a heavy blow to the player but giving them just enough time to spin round and stop the Creaking could be more effective. Imagine, Standing in darkness, eyes locked with the Creaking, your health now too low now to take another hit. You could run backwards but any fall will kill you. So desperately cramming pork chops to regenerate health, staring into those glowing eyes, you listen to the zombies getting closer.
