Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Its name could be the Void Vault.

I think it would work better if it worked by being in your inventory, when you die. And it got placed as a block. The vault should only be interactable by whoever died causing it to be placed (And if it is broken by another player it should be put in the owners inventory with a chat notification. If the player logged out it would save as a item given to that player when they rejoin the world again.) Recovery compasses should lead to the block. It would be impossible to destroy it as an item on cacti or in lava. Lava, fire, and explosions should not cause its destruction either. Items cannot be stored into one manually or by containers, nor can items be pulled out through containers. If the player dies when one of these is in the inventory, ALL items are stored in the exact same way they were in the players inventory, the game the saves.

The block should appear to crack open into a portal, signaling it is your void vault. If multiple are in the inventory, ONLY ONE is placed down, and the rest are stored in the void vault. The UI also displays the name of the player who has claim over it. The claim is lost once the final item is removed.

Its recipe would need to be something that players in middle-game can access:

    Obsidian/Amethyst Block/Obsidian

    Amethyst Block/Ghast Tear/Amethyst Block

    Obsidian/Amethyst Block/Obsidian

The amethyst block is representing allays and sculk, due to causing allays to replicate and being used in calibrated scuk sensors.
