Introducing interactable surface goblinoids and tribal NPC communities.
The goblinoids, whom I don't have an official original name made for as of yet (naming things decently and originally is hard), are chaotic-neutral tribal-hunter mobs. They're 1.5 block tall, 1 block wide, long pointed ears, skin ranging from green to red (desert = red, jungle & swamp = green.), and a grumpy demeanor. they commonly wander their territories in groups no greater than 5. They wield spears, blow pipes & poisoned darts, knives, small shields, and bone or bamboo armor (all craftable items). Individually they're weak, hence swarming is their hunting method.
Being chaotic-neutral mobs, they're passive IF approached with sweet food in one of PC's hands. when met this way, they'll lead PC to their tribe if it exists in a nearby biome. Otherwise, they'll just want the chocolate selfishly (feeding them will make them friendly). In their village, the chieftain will seek you if holding sweet food. Feeding him the sweets will ally the tribe with you until the chieftain dies. once allied, trade with the tribe is now possible. professions here are the shaman & hunt master (potions & new tools), who trade for amethysts.
unemployed goblinoids can be hired as squires, combative and can carrying items. (1 hired at a time) They equip & carry specific items upon interaction, won't draw aggro, won't walk into damaging tiles. and teleport to you if you're far. spawns backpack block of what it carried at death.
