I am still having this problem. I cannot figure out how to adjust just the agro mob spawn rate. It is making the game unplayable and not enjoyable.

You can increase your world's simulation distance higher in advanced settings, which will expand the spawning sphere and will allow mobs to spawn further away from you. I use 8 chucks which seems to give the best results.

Why do so many mobs spawn now in bedrock? It was not this bad before, now just 30 mobs at a time spawn? Will this be fixed it makes bedrock no fun.

I strongly agree. I play more casually and mostly like making nicer builds, but I feel like there are constantly creepers spawning directly outside my house (yes, I have torches out) it makes it tedious to do anything without risking them blowing up in my face. Obviously mob loot is needed for certain items so I don’t just want to swap to peaceful or creative but it’s getting old having three to four creepers pop up consecutively on easy mode when I am just trying to garden during daylight hours.

Im do not know much about the mechanic. However I think the mob spawn rate is not too aggressive. I believe it would be better if the mob spawning was like Java's as the rates mob farms generate between version is a massive difference.

This right here is what I've been looking for I just started and I am glad I got the mod at gravestone because I should you not my first world which I have on peaceful permanently because even with all the torches that I made I died a good 30 times before I said f it I'm just playing peaceful even though I do want a little bit of a challenge I don't want so much of a challenge I can't do anything.
No I didn't stop with this one I started trying to make different worlds maybe if maybe my settings are different so I did everything they are absolutely still overpowered and bs baby zombie are the worst I cannot move my screen fast enough to angle it and keep hitting the same time so I have to stop hitting move the angle hit and then they move so I have to move the angle again and then they kill me before I can get the right angle this is absolutely unfair and I'm playing on easy.

Its crazy that this has been an unfixed issue for years. I recently started playing again, but the second I go anywhere underground, I only have time to mine like 3 blocks before I get rushed from all angles by 100 zombies, 50 skeletons, and 30 creepers. Coming back to just mobs always attacking you and killing you so fast even on "Easy mode", I'm gonna have to uninstall it again cause its just making me mad constantly dying and running so far back underground to get my stuff. I just want to passively play without having to explore a dead empty world on "Peaceful Mode". The good-ol relaxing days of Minecraft is just dead unfortunately cause the devs don't seem to even be thinking about adding a setting that lowers aggro or spawn distances.

Wholly agree. We signed up for Realms so the kiddo and friends could play together across platforms on Bedrock and the rate/proximity/quantity of spawns is simply driving them to play custom maps in lieu of being blown up continuously. They find villages and, several days later, half the town is full of craters from waking up to multiple Creepers still lurking outside the houses. It's bad enough getting ambushed with a keyboard and mouse, I can't imagine how terrible it is on a console where your turning speed is reliant on a joystick's limited input. The Switch users are often the first to bail out when things go sour at nightfall and, once those players leave, the others are quick to follow. To be blunt: it's not fun and they don't enjoy the game.

On the other hand, my daughter LOVES playing Java. Her buildings aren't regularly decimated, she doesn't wake up to see 5 zombies at a villager's window, and the enemies don't magically home in on her from 100 blocks away.

7 blazes, 4 hoglins, 5 wither skeletons, and 9 normal skeletons in a 32 block stretch of a nether fortress on EASY MODE
