Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Minecraft's Torch Issue

We all hate having to place a large number of torches everywhere in the caves, why not make a torch with a larger light radius?

Although Mojang has already made lanterns, the resources to make them are slightly costly and does not have much better lighting (8 - 12 light radius), a bundled torch would add more visibility in caves.

With a bundled torch, it would have a light radius of 56 and the materials needed to create these would be four torches in a 2x2 square with a lead next to the torches.

  • When crafting these torches, you will get an outcome of one bundled torch.
  • The max stack of bundled torches would be 32 to add balance.

    And probably add a lead to the crafting recipe?
    It would make more sense, after all.

    i think this is a great idea, but insted of 32 since it take 4 torches and the light level of 14 make the torch bund be a light level of 14x4 and make the light level 56, so its actually be worth the 4 torches.
