I think Bedrock Edition desperately needs a rework.
The Console Edition of Minecraft was built around Java Parity, aesthetics aside, the game functioned nearly identically to the version of Java Minecraft, everything down to the redstone, things like Quasi Connectivity worked in Console Edition meaning Java redstone tutorials worked on Console Edition, Console had features that always worked, and felt super responsive(Except for the later versions of the game running on old consoles like the PS3).
Bedrock and Java feel like 2 very different versions of Minecraft, and Bedrock is the worse feeling one because of how low quality the game is.
Sometimes block placement bugs out, sometimes collision breaks and kills the player, sometimes the position of the player will be completely different on the server than it is on the client, and the player will randomly die of fall damage even on singleplayer, and now the game has Hardcore mode.
Minecraft Bedrock Edition is holding Minecraft back from getting content, and I don't blame Mojang for the slow updates, but the thing that is to blame for the slow updates and lack of content/incomplete updates(Caves and Cliffs part X) should be fixed because anything else is a huge disservice to the players.
