Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).
A plant (Sage) that can spawn around the badlands biome of Minecraft, and sage could be used to treat a certain kind of poison. Poison's level system could be rewritten where as level 1 is treatable with Sage, while any higher isn't able to be cured. (As in reality Sage is used for Antibacterial purposes.)
