Items:
Lapis gear includes armor, basic tools (sword, axe, pickaxe, shovel, hoe), and a bow. These may or may not count as one of the normal tiers of tools due to their unique abilities.
Specialty:
When crafted, each piece of Lapis armor/ tool possesses exactly one enchantment -no more, no less. Two pieces of Lapis armor cannot be combined for repairs unless their enchantments are identical. In this case, the resulting piece has the same enchantment.
They cannot possess multiple or none enchantments, but their enchantment can be swapped using an enchanting table. No experience is required for this.
If the new enchantment is more expensive (Protection 1 to Frost Walker), extra lapis is required.
If the new enchantment is cheaper (Fire Protection 4 to Blast Protection 1), extra lapis is given to the player.
If the new enchantment is equal (Mending to Infinity), no extra lapis is involved.
Durability:
Lapis gear is about as durable as iron gear.
Uses:
Lapis gear is extremely versatile due to not requiring multiple sets for different purposes but lacks any specialization due to only one enchantment per piece. This will make it an extremely balanced armor for players.
Players would opt for it for most missions but would use other tiers of armor for more special missions.
