For the End we should get an update revamping it just like the Nether Update. Now nothing to grand, just something that feels like an End Update. I have a couple of concepts that were original and also inspired by Youtube videos discussing a possible End Update. So here are my ideas.
1. Ender Dragon Battle We need a better Ender Dragon fight. The Ender Dragon should fight back the player, because most of the time it doesn't feel like the "endgame" we expected when we first fought the Dragon. The End is called the "End" for pete's sake, it should feel challenging.
New Ender Dragon Attacks 1.Lightning Strike-The Dragon will summon lightning under it.
2.Enderman Frenzy-The Dragon will call upon the endermen to follow the player around, even if you don't look at them.
3.Ender Rain-A Rain effect from the overworld but is purple color and can cause harm to the player.
Also if the Dragon reaches half health, Phase 2 of the battle will commence. It can now teleport to obsidian pillars and can respawn 1-3 end crystals.
4.Anvil Wildfire-Anvils can drop near the player and fires can now randomly spread.
