The End is currently lacking resources. Unless you find a city or are just super obsessed with chorus fruit, there's not much to find in the normal End. My suggestion is Zinc Ore. This could be used to make new brass blocks (copper + zinc = brass) and could also be used as a better alternative to exploit-y creeper farms by being used as a crafting ingredient along with blaze powder to make gunpowder (something like 1 zinc + 1 blaze powder = 3 gunpowder). Since blazes can be farmed naturally at spawners, this avoids the necessity of exploiting creeper spawning and would also discourage TNT duplication glitches now that TNT is reasonably available. The brass would also teach people about real world alloys as well as being able to act as a mechanical like ingredient. I think this suits the direction Minecraft is heading with the new autocrafters and the April fools update introducing the interesting floater. I think we're due for mechanical blocks and items that aren't necessarily meant to be included as part of "redstone circuit logic", and Zinc Ore being an endgame ingredient would help push people into exploring the endgame and getting to interact with these new features in a way that feels like you accomplished something.
