Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Replace durability bar with visuals of items in different stages of decay.

I think the Durability Bar should be replaced with simple and intuitive visual illustrations of the item at different stages of decay, just like the Cracked Anvil. The current durability bar is rather ugly and tends to clutter up the screen.

    Then all items would be able to simply have a broken items state, just like Elytra when the durability runs out the item doesn't break and disappear.
    maybe it would just allow the texture to be a broken state when they have The Unbreakable enchantment.
    but rare items like Elytra would have that unbreakable ability innately.
