Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

honestly i think all blocks and most items should stack to anywhere between 1000-9999. bigger stack sizes would basically eliminate the inventory clutter issue. Also take a look at terraria, it’s stack size is 9999 for most items, and that game has a limited 2D world as opposed to minecraft’s basically infinite 3D one. 64 is iconic but maybe just keep that number for certain items like enchanted books. currently i can’t play the game without using the bigger stacks mod, it makes building actually engaging instead of having to reach into my inventory every minute to grab a new stack of the same block.

I say, 256 for all "basic" items such as cobblestone, sticks, logs, planks, etc.; 64 for 'uncommon' or 'utility' items such as potions, enchanted books, crafting tables, ender pearls, etc.; and 1 for equipment which are already unstackable.
