Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

1.22 Idea - Brilliant Builders

My idea for the 1.22 update is for it to be more focused on the builders of Minecraft. The 1.21 update was more focused on PvP so I think making 1.22 about building would be perfect! 

As a builder myself, I am always wishing that there was more building blocks. I think the entire community would love for white wood or any type of colorful wood, more brick variations, mossy stone, clay block slabs and stairs, and more types of grass like the moss block.

    As a fellow builder I also believe the block palette is missing quite a lot of important colors and shades. A white stone set that isn’t pure contrast like diorite or no texture at all like quartz, for example, is way overdue. And I think we desperately need a wood set that bridges the huge gap between the shades of Spruce and Dark Oak, so that we can blend the colors together for decent roofs and other things.

    If Minecraft update 1.22 was created solely for builders, that would be very disappointing for me. As much as I like creating a cool house where I can live and put my stuff inside, I am definitely more of a player who enjoys the adventure of the game. In both updates 1.20 and 1.21, we have been given plenty of new blocks. I am a bit disappointed with the 1.21 blocks because I know I will not use them. Copper Blocks are too ‘in your face’ for me. I think that Copper needs more uses in terms of tools. For me, 1.22 should not be a wasted update. I feel that Mojang needs to make an update that improves on older things such as an end update or a desert update. Something that doesn’t add extra stuff that is only for one purpose. I do think that Mossy Stone would be a great addition to have though
