I want the old old touch layout back (Bedrock on android)

The new control layout (for D-Pad & tap) is a significant downgrade. Buttons have been repositioned and are now harder to even hit. Also, the fly and fall buttons in creative mode not being in the same spot anymore is the worst decision ever made. The saddest part about all of this is, that it's so completely unnecessary. You could've made this slightly changed layout as an option, but you decided to force players to use it. I want my old controls back as soon as possible

    104% agree. I had a mental breakdown because I was in the middle of building my house and then my friend tried to join so I had to update… and now I can’t finish my house because the controls are soooo different and awful. Especially for going up and down scaffolding. The D-pad is slightly more to the right now and it’s so upsetting.

    Yes, I strongly agree. The new version's UI is very inconvenient. It is so difficult to use.

    If the officials insist on making changes, they should allow players to freely choose between the new and old versions.

    I 100% agree with this, the new touch controls on PE are infuriating. Especially since there is no option to go back to the previous version, flying and swimming is ridiculously enraging and makes me want to not play.

    I could not agree more. There is no way to go back to the previous controls. I deleted the game and discourage others to play. Hopefully they fix what did not need to be changed.

    I agree, I’m autistic and I’ve had multiple meltdowns trying to play Minecraft with the new ui. When I try to change directions it moves my camera. This is pure psychological TORMENT.

    I don’t mind, but I REALLY want a way to change back to the old controls, I so used to them that I can’t adapt to this new one.

    Please bring the old controls back. I am in the middle of a huge project and it’s been months that I’ve continued on it because of the controls on PE BEDROCK I mainly use my iPad Pro M4 :( it can be a 4th option at least

    The Dpad/joystick is fine as you can just resize it in settings at the "touch" section but the Hotbar, front page buttons and your inventory got way too small and makes it almost impossible to click them. Just the other day, I was building a particle accelerator and pressed Tnt from my hotbar which was next to powered rails and when i tried to /kill it, i placed more and half my world got destroyed. I think they need to make an option where you can resize buttons and In-game interactives like the inventory personally.
