Pretty self-descriptive, not to be confused with wireless redstone as a proper redstone component. This would be intended for map-making and generally organizing things in creative mode without having to work around the same set of mechanics that's supposed to work as a puzzle or creative outlet for people who are making contraptions.
Leaving it unlisted (except for possibly the Operator Utilities tab that's off by default) would solidify it as something that's not intended for proper redstone wiring, but rather as a more convenient way to integrate input redstone components where it might not have previously been viable to.
You can already do something of the sort in existing versions by repeatedly reading block states with `execute if block`, but it's slow and takes some setup. Speed and practicality would be the main focuses of this.
As for how to integrate it, I think a new block named something along the lines of "Pulse Transmitter" (intentionally not redstone component-like) with a similar interface to the structure block would work fine; two modes (input & output) and a box for a string of text or other configurable component that pulse transmitters would use to identify each other.
I have, on many occasions, felt the absence of this when making maps myself, and would be happy to see it in the game.
