Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

If durability was removed from the game, it would make even wooden tools overpowered, let alone a netherite axe.

actually i've played minecraft without durability and it's really not that bad. sure a little of the balance is wacky but with very minor tweaks everything would be hunky dory haha

golden tools are actually useful and balanced due to not being able to break every block while still mining fast and wooden tools are so replaceable it doesn't matter. late game when it gets to the point durability would matter due to how expensive certain tools are the mechanic just gets completely invalidated by Mending - Unbreaking III further spitting salt into that wound.

point is i've experienced this idea in practice and it's amazing!

Heres my idea for balancing. items become duller instead of just breaking. and you can repair it with no resources other than xp at an anvil to make it back to its full potential
