Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

To add on/clarify, the “thorns” effect of the lightning book refers to mobs being electrocuted when hitting you; charging it for longer also makes you faster & jump up to 2 blocks, but it caps out at a certain speed.
*The white (snow) spell book: changing its uncharged attack to a “snow charge” (a wind charge attack as a column of explosions, but the knockback value is negative, allowing players to pull in mobs/projectiles and make a pseudo-tornado); costs the least xp, does 1 damage & applies slowness IV for 2 seconds. Also changing its charged attack to the ice block attack, just combining it with the white dragon-breath particle attack (to resemble snow). Anyone in the particle effect gains frostbite, but when the user gets frostbite, they get regeneration & absorption. Entities hit directly will have their animation suspended for a while, depending on how long it was charged. Attack does more damage (but caps off) and snow effect grows wider (no cap) the more it’s charged.
Fire Spell book: the higher the charge, the higher the knockback & initial damage, the projectile is same size but deeper red, the explosion afterwards is what increases (can one-shot several mobs+be used for strong rocket jumping).
*Player can only equip 1 book at a time. These items are indestructible, but if lost, will reset in loot table in the dungeons they’re found in.
