I think there is a smooth way to integrate charged attacks, critical hits, reaching attacks, and sweeping attacks all in one.
•You perform a critical hit when you jump and hit with a charged attack
• You perform a reaching attack when you don’t jump or shift while hitting a charged attack
• You sweep when you crouch and hit a charged attack (crouching while jumping is included)
These attacks increase their given stats (Like a reaching attack will hit farther away). This included with a combat update might help integrate Java and Bedrock combat more seamlessly. Like in the combat snapshots you just hold to attack at intervals. Thanks for the hard work!
