the mushroom biome is a unique biome unlike any other which is why its sad that it doesn't get a big update
1. new mushroom tree generation; better mushroom tree and unique forms the mushrooms trees take.
2.more mushrooms; mushrooms have four different types of mushrooms, so more variety would be great, they can be used for food,potions, and decoration.
3. better mycelium texture; mycelium is a cool idea for a block but it doesn't look very good or mix well with other blocks so a brighter texture or something to make it look more alive could go well.
4. more unique mobs; the mooshroom is the only mushroom mob, so more would be an awesome addition with unique drops and mechanics but still keeping the biome peaceful. .
5. a challenge; the mushroom biome is know for not allowing mobs to spawn on the island, which i don't want to get rid of, but i don't want the island to be boring. We need a challenge and mushrooms are known for being dangerous, so maybe a mushroom that has overtaken the island and shoots out poisonous spores that you need to destroy to make the island habitable .
