Copper tools will contain a sword, pickaxe, axe, shovel, and hoe. They will have more durability than iron tools and more block-breaking speed than a diamond tool set, but copper tools will slowly oxidize making the breaking speed slower with each of its 4 oxidation stages. This will also affect the attack damage of each tool/weapon, making hits do less damage to entities depending on the oxidation stage.
To repair oxidation the player will need to craft a certain item made from copper and honey, then combine the item with the oxidized tool in an anvil. The stated item will repair 2 stages of tool oxidation, for example, if my copper pickaxe is "weathered" (3rd stage) and I combine it with the special item it will skip the "exposed" stage (2nd stage) and turn the tool into a non-oxidized pickaxe (1st stage) which will make it break pickaxe appropriate blocks faster than before.
Copper tools will have an exclusive enchantment that makes the oxidation process slower, getting slower with every enchantment level (up to III). It will be tradeable with librarian villagers and will also be commonly found in the new trial chamber structure's loot chests.
Since copper is so common to find, copper tools will not be craftable. They will be acquired in the trial chamber structure by defeating the trial spawner as a reward, and can also be found rarely in loot chests around the structure.
Same concepts:
Copper armor - weaker over time
Copper minecart - faster than normal minecart, craftable
