Throwable Dynamite Sticks

Throwable dynamite would allow us to save an extra inventory space as they don't need a flint and steel to be ignited (unless it's placed down), but instead just blow up when it makes contact with a block, entity, player, etc. They’d help out with mining and defeating bigger foes. They aren't as powerful as the TNT block, but still pack a punch to knock players away and make decent sized craters. One of the differences between them is that they don’t ricochet off each other like the blocks do. You can fire as many as you want and non will come back hitting you in face. They can stack up to 64 and would be a lot of fun to play with in Redstone cannons or other builds.

    Maybe you can’t use them with redstone, and maybe they could stack in 16 or 32, but otherwise it is a great idea!

    I’d like to add on to this suggestion. I’m thinking the dynamite would be a unique “block” and can only be crafted by putting a tnt block into a crafting table breaking it down into 9 pieces of dynamite. The catch is dynamite cannot be re-crafted into tnt. The dynamite in theory would be more marketed for mining/decoration, but could have pvp uses. The dynamite would be throwable making blast mining feel safer. The dynamite would explode upon impact and create a small blast clearing blocks while mining. In terms of decor I’m thinking about how the candles and sea pickles work, the more you place on a block the arrangement changes. To place dynamite on the ground you just need to be crouching so it doesn’t get thrown. For pvp it’s gonna be essentially more of an annoyance than a danger for iron armor and up. If thrown at a player it would explode and cause a moderate amount of damage if the player has no armor and blast them back a few blocks like a wind charge or knockback. The true pvp use would be its use in redstone traps. Think some tripwire sets off the dynamite to break temporary blocks leading to a pit fall. Finally the only natural spawn of dynamite would be found in minecart chests in abandoned mine shafts and abandoned camp sites. If any developer sees this please take this into consideration for future updates! Thank you!
