Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Remove Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template

Netherite is already a difficult item to get, and adding unnecessary difficulty to it will simply turn people away from getting it. Players also already have reasons to go to Bastions, for gold and scraps; there is no need for another reason.

    Definitely! The other smithing templates are purely decorative and completely optional, while this template completely upends progression in the game and makes the highest-tier resource unreasonably rare and nonrenewable.

    I agree. The difficulty is too high and finding bastion remnants is too tedious.

    I agree. Me and my friends found two bastion remnants so far and have only found two templates in the entirety of them both. This means we have to spend precious diamonds on the netherite upgrade. Although I think the template is a good idea, it should be easier to duplicate (maybe with amethyst, which currently doesn't have a super strong use), or maybe not need to duplicated, but rather reusable.

    Agreed. I have never gotten Netherite legitimately, but I don't want Mojang to make it harder. I say keep the armor trims, but make it so that Netherite armor or tools can be crafted the old way.

    Exactly! It's already hard to find it so why would they even add the smithing upgrade? It was already ok when they added the smithing table without needing the netherite, the community was alright with that, so why would they ever change it up when they know it is just extra work and would make them get A LOT of backlash for it? Keep the trims, remove the smithing upgrade. Simple. Sometimes thing DO NOT need to be changed. THEY DO NOT.
