Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Cage bars

How about a cage-like metal bar.

tIt would be a single vertical bar when placed. Placing one next to it would create another single bar vertically and one in-between the two. It only connects to more bars or blocks above and below. No horizontal attachment between bars or to any other block. This would be perfect for animal cages or even jail cells.

For example, place three bars in a row to make five vertical bars. Place another row on top or below to make them taller.

    I like the idea of more aesthetical looking bars for railings, cages etc this has my vote
