Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

chest beside or on top of furnace could feed them without hoppers

  • when you pick up a cooked item from a chest on the floor below a furnace,  the feeding chest for that furnace sits 5 blocks above the floor. The chest sitting above or beside a furnace should be filling that furnace without a hopper. Look and work better.

    Chests are closed storage containers, nothing can get out without a means of transferring "installed". Hoppers allow object transfer, thus are necessary for moving items from chests.
