Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

More items should be able to be repaired with materials

If mending becomes more scarce with villager overhaul, anvils should be more effective in repairing items.

And there are a few items that don't accept materials to repair.
I think they all should be able to be repaired with just materials.

My suggestions for materials to repair tools are below :

Carrot on a stick - Carrot
Warped fungus on a stick - Warped fungus
Brush - Copper Ingot
Crossbow - Iron Ingot
Shears - Iron Ingot
Flint and steel - Iron Ingot
Bow - String
Fishing rod - String
Trident - Nautilus shell

If we could use Nautilus shells to repair Tridents, we would have more use for Nautilus shells and encourage the usage of Tridents without mending.

    And the exp cost to repair shouldn't increase with more repairs.
