Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Travelling with lanterns

I think you should be able to carry lanterns that then light up an area surrounding you as you walk.

    dynamic lights in mods like optifine do this already (there are better mods than optifine but i’m behind the times)

    Dynam-c lighting isn't in the base game, but shaders allow this feature.
