Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

    The best candidate for a real life ore to make use of here might be cobalt. I don't see why a villager would trade for it since it isn't a gemstone, but irl it can be found most often on a continent of many savannahs, namely Africa, and it has a property that would be very interesting to see integrated into the Minecraft sandbox: Cobalt is primarily known for being magnetic.
    The only problem is that this would introduce a third blue ore (albeit this one could be made distinctly metallic blue) into the mix, when we are already getting tripped up by lapis when looking for diamonds.

    I wouldn't mind an ore or other resource specific to the Savanna biome.

    Would you have reservations against it being more towards the surface? I don't think it makes sense for the biome at the top to influence things that far down.
