Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

There should be ore variants for granite,diorite and andisite

Like a diorite iron ore or a andisite coal ore or a granite gold ore

    Could you please explain what those reasons are?

    I can understand why this feature hasn't been prioritized, and can speculate as to the technical decisions that would need to be made to implement it (e.g. whether to add individual blocks or implement it as a generalized texture overlay), but I see no overt reason why this shouldn't find its way in.

    it could be implemented in a way nether gold ore where it drops different amounts depending on the block that it's in. maybe
