Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

obsidian knives

As we well know, Mojan avoids implementing weapons into the game at all costs and although knives are a weapon that are currently used, the idea that I propose are obsidian knives, ancient weapons that are no longer used today (like swords, which are in the game). This new weapon would be an intermediate weapon between the sword and the axe, since my idea is that it has greater damage than the aforementioned, with the disadvantage that its range is low (1 block or block and a half at most).

    The knife is a versatile tool. It can be used for fighting, for cutting threads and cobwebs, for slowly shaving sheep, for cutting crowns, even for digging and loosening (as we know, kunai originated from garden shovels).
    The material is not fundamental, obsidian is quite historically reliable (I can also offer macuahuitl).
    As for combat, the knife is not a transitional link between an ax and a sword (it is inferior to both in cutting power and attack distance, but surpasses both in speed and resource saving).
