Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Shield and Elytra enchantments

Shields and Elytras have NO ENCHANTMENTS!!! Currently, they can only be enchanted with Unbreaking, Mending and the two curses.
Here are some of my ideas:

- Kinetic Protection I - IV (Elytra)
Like Feather Falling but for kinetic damage

- Blade Edge I - V (Elytra)
adds damage if you fly next to things

- Rebound I - III (Shield) (Java(This basically happens already in other versions))
People bounce back more when they hit your shield

- Deflection I - III

Causes projectiles to rebound more off of the shield

    This is amazing ideas only thing I would add is deflection hit projectiles farther away when they hit the shield instead of being Thorne's. For example have a arrow be deflection 10 blocks with level one. So that you can send the arrow back at the shooter. All these enchantments will greatly enhance pvp.

    I like this idea, I would also suggest to add blast protection (I - III) for shields to protect players for creepers or tnt. I would also like to acknowledge the other comment for this thread, however, I would believe the rebound ability would make more sense for the arrow deflection rather than changing the thorns idea.

    I have changed the post as you suggested. It's a good idea
