Making more Saddles

Mojang, many people don’t use horses to move around, as they were already a bit iffy and using them was made basically obsolete by the elytra. I believe it is mostly because of the following reasons:

1: They drown if you enter water more than 1 block deep.

2: It takes a while to tame them and breed or find one with good speed and health stats.

3: Saddles are too hard to come by, making what should be an early or mid-game way of traveling rather endgame, making them used only to look cool.

I believe it could be best fixed by doing this:

Saddles should be make reproducible in the same way as armor trims and the Nephrite Upgrade, where you need one already and some other materials. But instead of using 7 diamonds and a random block relating to how you get it, you instead need 6 leather and 2 Tripwire Hooks(The tripwire hook looks A lot like the bit for your feet). This way, it will be easier to get more saddles and tame and breed horses, but still a hard time to get ahold of them so it isn’t overpowered.

(I also believe that they should be normal in up to 2 blocks of water instead of 1, and at three have trouble swimming for a few seconds, long enough for you to pull them out. At 4 blocks they are submerged start losing their 6 air bubbles, and 5 is the same as 4 but you they rider are kicked off and need a lead to help your horse. This way, horses will be able to at least compete with skeleton horses and camels when it comes to exploring areas with even the least bit of water.
