Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

The unique obtainment methods reference real-life processes (ex. slimeballs and magma cream refer to the creation process for artificial petrified wood,, which involves dousing wood in multiple types of acid), and the unorthodox nature in which this wood is obtained should hopefully inspire players to think outside the box when looking to obtain a large amount of Petrified wood for building, such as making a magma cream farm or a lightning farm. With it being a unique wooden building material unlike any other in the game, it would serve as a proper reward for the required effort, somewhat like prismarine today. It also makes more thematic sense for the Oak in ancient structures like Strongholds and Mineshafts to be a Petrified variant while simultaneously giving these places more valuable loot in the form of the hard-to-obtain building blocks found there. Lastly, Petrified wood could also be used to great effect as dead trees in a theoretical future new biome or as a rare tree spawn, bringing a surprisingly absent spooky aesthetic aboveground; or as an occasional "ore" vein, which fits authentic Petrified wood's status as a fossil while simultaneously providing a somewhat consistent belowground source of wood for torches and tools.
