Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

A new way of duplicating templates

The smithing templates are a rare item that cannot be crafted and only found, but we are able to duplicate them if already have one

The way we do this is by placing in the crafting table the template, a matching block and 7 Diamonds, which is fine, but I believe that it would be better to duplicate using the Smithing Table

I suggest introducing an item called Blank Template, that would serve as a base for all duplication: placing the Blank Template, the Template we want to duplicate and the matching block on the Smithing Table would give us 2 new Templates

The Blank Template could be found in loot chests, excavating suspicious sand and gravel or crafted using 6 Diamonds and 3 Iron Ingots

    I agree with changing the duplication mechanic, and I do like your suggestion better than what's in the game right now.

    While I'm ok with an increase in difficulty for neitherite upgrades, copying items on the crafting table plays to me like a poorly-envisioned tech mod.
