Tree tapper

The tree tapper would be a new block that could  be placed on a living tree(a log with natural leaves on it) (for a mangrove, it would also have to have roots). The tree tapper would be crafted like a bucket, except instead of iron, it's copper, and then in the top left and the top right, there would be iron ingots. Once a day, if placed on a tree, the player could collect sap from a tree tap, and it would only work so that the player could only collect one sap per tree, per day. Each tree would have it's own specific tree sap, so that it would A: be the same item with different data

or B: be a different item.

When cooked in a furnace/smoker, sap would turn into something depending on what tree it came from. Every tree would have a different item from their sap, and they would all need a  use.

    Most trees would likely have poisonous sap, however birch trees do not have poisonous sap in real life, and can be used to make syrup. So, when cooked, birch sap would make birch syrup. Jungle trees are representative of all trees in the jungle, so they would likely be able to be tapped, and would make jungle syrup when their sap is smelted. However, the rest of the trees all have poisonous sap, so their smelts would make crafting materials such as resin instead.

    I would like to see spruce resin as an alternative fuel and resource for crafting torches, glue, but it can be obtained without a tapper. As for the rest of the trees, only ineffective medicines can be made from tree sap.
