When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

I can already see uses for this! player or mob specific detection is amazing!

Came here to post this exact same idea. We 100% need this! It would make sculk sensors/shriekers the most broadly useful signal transmission mechanism in the game, and this suggestion feels totally "minecrafty" and in line with the other upcoming sculk sensor changes.

Just link a calibrated skulk sensor to a skulk shreaker

    (Java)

This is a great idea to make the sculk components way more practical replacing the need of storing sound in chambers that cycle an encoded vibration.

I think it should be calibrated using the desired redstone signal strength when an amethyst  bloc is in contact. When powered without the amethyst bloc nearby it emits the sound in the calibrated frequency.

It could also be used as a changeable hexadecimal memory if we could read the encoded signal strength using a comparator. Thus storing information between 0 and 15 without the need of player interaction.
