Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

I agree with you. At the moment, iron ingots are the item used in the largest number of crafting.
I can offer a copper cauldron, such exist, copper tools - existed before the Bronze Age, a copper pressure plate and a copper hopper.

    Agreed.
Wish copper golems would've been added, but they gave them a weak, not-useful functionality that lead them to not win the mob-vote.

Love your idea of decorative bars and lamps

    I had these suggestions: https://feedback.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/community/posts/360077393071-Copper-usages-Ore-detector-Golem-and-more

If Mojang decides to add new weapons, tools, or other things, I think copper would be a good place for it. It doesn't turn copper into a weaker iron copy (kind of like gold tools and armor before the nether update) or make it a slightly useless decoration resource. Making it a tool-centered resource can ensure copper is useful and used.

I'm not sure about armor, as it wouldn't fit into progression, though if it had some unique properties, (kinda like gold does) then maybe it would make sense. Though there's not a niche to fill to my knowledge.

I'd like to see more copper in restone items, like a simplifying sorting with a hopper with copper upgrade that can look at an adjacent chest/barrel for approved items to allow to pass through.

Or using rods with redstone to make a water loggable signal carrier, with a new repeater block, as the signal only goes 4 blocks. This would give a lot of options include parallel redstone systems, and even vertical ones but at a higher cost to use up all that copper in the world.
