Copper usages - Ore detector, Golem and more

I have been browsing other ideas but I felt like I should give a short collection of my ideas about how copper could be made as valuable as iron and gold:

1, Ore Detector:
(same crafting recipe as Gold Clock or Iron Compass only with Copper)
Seeing how much harder it will be to find ores due to the increased worldsize, this is a much needed tool.
A circular copper tool with a redstone light in the middle that would would change its intensity based on how close the player is to Copper/Iron/Gold or Diamond Ores.

2, Copper Golem:
Built and spawned similarly as the IronGolem, but instead of combat it could fulfill a much desired and highly demanded function: Auto Crafting. The CopperGolem would have a GUI in which the player that spawned it could set a recipe. The Golem would seek and pick up the items needed to craft said recipe and drop the crafted item onto the ground.

3, Gear block:
Much like pistons, these would be used to move blocks, but unlike pistons, they would function as conveyor belt, pushing the block placed on the 1 active side of the block into the direction the block is facing to when powered by redstone.
