Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Iron and gold stairs and slabs.

Iron and gold stairs and slabs. There should be stair and slab variants of gold and iron blocks. They should have exactly the same recipes as other materials would use (ie. 6 planks = 4 stairs or 12 slabs). The should all have the same texture as a polished texture (not a brick variant like copper), but in the texture of the material used. Once crafted, they should not be able to be uncrafted but instead can be smelted. It's only fair as other gold and iron items that are smeltable give only a single nugget and the cost of each, the stairs and slabs, is no more than armour, 8.

    yeah if copper can get stairs and slabs gold and iron the other 2 metals in the game should also get them.
