Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

This would be an amazing addition because such a small change can set up ways in which orchilds can be added into the game as new functional blocks, decorative items, food types and plant varieties. If say, a pottery wheel and an overhaul to minecraft's weather/season system were included, then adding new types of fruit trees into the game would be a welcome addition that's thematic to the concept.

Right now, in order for builders to achieve an apple tree effect, they are required to either use a debug tool or use redstone tricks to mount apples to custom trees they've made but imagine what it could look like for builders to have access to authentically grown apple trees or any other type of fruit producing plant?

A simple fix to apples in the game has so much potential to unlock ways in which the Minecraft team can develop new types of decorative items, gameplay systems and simply add ways to build upon immersion. This can even include new types of drinks (necter, juices) for a fruit press machine, a way to introduce new foods and food types like jams, pies and fruit salads.

Also, with the addition of apple (and more fruit trees & plants) we can get new types of mobs, like different kinds of insects we can collect that are drawn to such plants (for good or bad).
