Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Elytra with chestplate

It would make sense to be able to fly around with more protection in the late game. First you would have to craft an Elytra Crystal, which would be very expensive and be crafted with boss loot (if only there was a boss with no mob drops). Then you would use the smiting table to add the crystal, elytra and chestplate together to get your custom elytra chestplate. To dismantle it you would either use another elytra crystal, or you could just disassemble it (somehow).
