will the gold trim make piglins neutral for all armours ?

    I don't think that'd be a good idea. It'd just make everyone wear at least one gold trimmed armor piece. I'd rather see everyone wear completely different trims, just based on looks.

    I think this is a bad idea. Its good attention to detail but armor trimmings of other materials would then be made less important in comparison considering none of the other ones have a use.

    No, that would be unbalanced. Gold armour is meant to be exclusively for that, otherwise it has no use.
