    I would like the armors to have more designs or rather even better designs, I know they are still in testing but it would be nice if the designs look better in all and with all colors

    It would also be interesting to have them in horse armor so that they look even better when we ride them and have more variety of them

    I would also like that when enchanting the armor it has its typical color, but when placing a design that now what shines is only the design so that it does not become so saturated with colors.By doing it this way, everything would look much better and if it can be made to look good, it would be great

    I would also like them to remove the tablet to upgrade to netherite, I don't like it and it seems absurd.It would be better if we need a new table that can only be found in the bastions or that the gold we need is a different mining, a different gold, even though that is already more than necessary This way we could make it more difficult to get it and you also need more resources to craft an ingot, maybe diamond or iron since the ingot is like gold or sewn iron.Thus the crafting would be more difficult and we could not get it easy, in addition to more resources making it more necessary to explore and use the diamond armor that has been left aside. And lastly, that when crafting it not only stays in black, that it has a different tone, if the ingot is obtained with gold and rubble, it would be logical that it has at least golden colors It would be an amazing detail on nether armor.

    I would also like two last things, that the armors receive a redesign, perhaps not the typical mods that look 3D, but that it is a design of its own for each one. This is so that each of the armors can show off when we are using them, in addition to representing us even more with the tastes of the players And if they are going to have designs, but those designs are with minerals, that they may at least receive an effect, that the truth seems too much but it could be fine, or that they receive an improvement. A slight improvement of course, be it durability or stamina. Also that the weapons receive a redesign and their own designs with the new tablets would be epic.

    When you put quarts rib armor trim on armor, it isn't the same colour as when you use it on other trims small thing but you can hardly notice the difference on netherite armor. Thanks it looks like a great update.

    I think the ore on same ore trims are a tad too dark and look like dark marks rather than dark indents on the armor.

    I like them so far, but i have a change to the Leather Amor.

    Make it when dyed its knee pads on the legs and the line in the helmet be dyed also by the color, because currently when you apply a color to the leather armor in these parts, it doesn't look aesthetically good with it.

    An example would be with black, white and yellow dyes in the armor with the brown knee pads and line in the helmet, disturbs the looks on the armor, it's even worse if we add a trim to them.

    What I would suggest is that the enchantment glint on each piece of armor could match the material of its trim. For example, a helmet with redstone trim could have a red glint rather than the default purple. I feel like no matter how the glint is tweaked, there are some palettes that the purple color will just consistently clash with.

    I would find it cool when the wandering trader could rare trade the armor trims, that would make him more interesting

    I want armour trims to do something more than just look cool, that way it’s more rewarding

    Not sure if this has been suggested but maybe you could include a villager trim which you could get from a leather worker. Some people like to play peaceful mode and this could be a way for them to access the trim too.

    The 'Netherite Upgrade' smithing templates make the netherite crafting process, which is already fairly complex, even more clunky. Additionally, these templates will be hoarded on servers with world borders, which isn't as big an issue for decorational templates but is more impactful for netherite.

    It would be nice if the armors now that you have new designs, the enchantment is something more subtle, that does not shine all the time that like the players who have Steve or Alex and their eyes blink, let it be so, that the enchantment shines every so often so as not to saturate the view of the armor and the player with so much color

    Leather as a trim with another area onto of the material slot for dye to add even more variations of armor to the game without commands.

    The glowing Ink sack should be able to go with other dyes and making them glow dyes this can be used for leather armour and gives this bright glow like effect so like neon colors for armor..... this would be useful for at night time....

    I think these templates could make leather-armor more usefull !

    My idea would be that you could test all the trims in the craftingtable with dye on the lethergear to know/see what the pattern is, wihtout consuming the templates, so you didn't waste them when just experimenting with 'em.                                                                                                                                        With the other armortipes in the smithingtable the template would of course be consumed (or even have a small chance to remain).

    PS. In my opinion having the "normal" trims on leather feels not that well implemented.                                  The trims over the brown undyed parts of the lether-armor look a bit weird.

    Players should find the Templates way more often. No one will Put this on an other armour then netherite because it's Not worth

    I see some suggestions to add simple effects to armour trims so I thought what if echo shards would give a slight stealth effect to weaken players' scent to wardens or add protection to sonic boom attacks

    Instead of having armour trims be purely cosmetic why not give buffs depending on what material you use. Like amythest trims glowing in the dark or netherite trims protecting you from fatal fire damage.

    seria muito interessante se as guarnições de armadura trouxessem alguma vantagem, por exemplo:

    As fabricadas com esmeralda podiam nos fornecer um desconto nas trocas com aldeões;

    As fabricadas com ouro podiam fazer com que os piglins não nos atacassem;

    As feitas com lápis-lazúli podiam nos dar maior chance de melhores encantamentos;

    As feitas com redstone podiam nos dar a habilidade de ativar sistemas de redstone sem usar uma alavanca, um botão...;

    Entre outras vantagens.

    Many people have expressed concerns over netherite smithing template availability on multiplayer servers. Since netherite upgrades are part of game progression, rather than cosmetic upgrades, I suggest adding some kind of mob (something like a pigeon brute wearing gold armor with a snout netherite trim) that has a low, recurrent chance of spawning in a bastion, with a low chance at dropping the netherite upgrade.

    This way, players are still required to find a bastion, but have a low chance to still find a netherite template even if the bastion has already been looted.

    We can have a better system that allows players more granular control over what they want, still be balanced and offer incentives for exploring and resource management.

    Instead of templates, have a Hammer drop from Brutes or be found in bastion chests. Having this hammer equipped will allow the player to interact with the Smithing table for armor design.

    The design system should be similar to the banner system, offering a wide variety of simple designs unique to each type of armor piece, with a similar limit like the banners six.

    No two armors will ever be the same, and the player will feel like they smithed something special.

    Instead of copying templates or risk losing them and not being able to trim *at all*, players can spend Blaze Powder plus the desired material.

    You still have to progress, explore, spend valuable materials, grind for powder, and the hammer is finite and must be earned and cant be farmed. All this and the player can still have fun with the feature and even make sets to place on stands without being overwhelmed with grinding, and its *actually* expressive and allows the player full customization.

    Oh, and the Hammer? It can be used as a (slightly ineffective) weapon. How cool is that?

    So that was good for engineers. They can do something with redstone and SHOW THEMSELVES to the other. Mojang should be a helper for engineers and allow players to use these armor trims on the other wears like elytra and horse armors. Do something MORE for engineers than builders and miners etc

    You didn't do so much for us (engineers) since 2013 as enough as the other players. I wish you don't want to attack the Holy Quran and... just this. THANK YOU!!!

    This should exist for horse armor, tools, shields, and elytra. Also gold trims should make you piglin-immune and netherite trims should make your armor fire-immune, and also if you apply a trim material that is above the armor material it should add at least a bit more protection depending on how better it is (although it shouldnt make it so its as good as the actual armor of the material you're trimming with, because that would make actual progression useless), I think this would encourage exploration and also would encourage you to get trims.

    This feature has a lot of promise. This is the perfect opportunity to implement custom armor model support for Java edition via resource/datapack. As it stands right now you can change textures of custom armor trims but not models--please expand that functionality!

    Flipside of that, I love that you can use trims to change the textures and models of other items via resource/datapack, but it doesn't seem to be linked to which trim pattern you use, only the material. Please make it so that items can be trimmed in a pattern-specific way, so that we can have a convenient way to create custom, hard-to-obtain item models, that aren't just smithable with any old trim you find laying around somewhere, and can still also have dynamic colored texture elements based on the smithing material. The datapack potential behind item trims that are only obtainable via patterns with custom crafting recipes / loot tables is almost infinite. For example, a sword trim crafted with the dragon egg!

    I think it's great to have more loot, that makes many structures a lot more unique.

    But please do not add more places to find loot 🙏
