Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Oil Cans

Oil Cans could be found as loot in villages, mineshafts, woodland mansions, and ancient cities, possibly in addition to a few other structures.

You could use an oil can to silence the hinges on chests, trapped chests, ender chests, doors, and trapdoors. This would be a great way to open chests in ancient cities without setting off a sculk shrieker.

In addition, you could oil minecart wheels to make them silent, and the minecarts would go faster too.

    Maybe also for redstone based blocks like pistons? It would be much easier on the ears
