Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

A Sword Pedestal (Weapon/Tool)

You should add a sword (weapon/tool) pedestal. Just a block that looks akin to the shape of a gold ingot, except it would be taller rather than longer. I envision a sword would look like it was resting tip-down into the pedestal. Other items like weapons or tools could fit in a similar manner.

I am just an old-school fan of fantasy and like little details like that. I find them to be fun.

    Developers should just add the ability to place any item as a block, for example on LShift+Q. Something similar is for example in "TES: Morrowind".
