Create a portal by placing a wither skull in the beam of a beacon. The beam will turn black and the skull will start floating above the beacon, with its eyes and mouth glowing. Then just walk into the beacon beam.
It would appear similar to the overworld, but with almost no color, with a solid gray sky and ground made of witherstone. All blocks have a bleached out texture.
Biome Ideas:
Dark Hills - mountains made of witherstone with neutral animals that have 75% chance of dropping rotten flesh instead of meat. Wither skeleton hunting parties spawn frequently.
Corrupt Forest - new type of black tree with a twisted texture, spawns zombie variant that inflicts wither effect.
Tar Swamps - like overworld swamps, but with tar instead of water, new type of mob that attacks by dragging you into the tar to drown. Also, witch huts still generate but with better loot.
Wither Flats - Perfectly flat plain with no vegetation except wither roses. Wither-like mobs (but weaker) spawn here, that are intended to be fled from, not fought. They would also be where wither castles spawn, large structures with different variants of wither skeletons and lots of loot.
